I’m writing a book:
How to love our mothers
The book spotlights daughters perspectives by building on personal narrative and interviews with 15 women, including my mother (Umi) and I.
It does so by understanding the different ways they show affection and overcome traumas associated with their mothers in various cultural contexts.
I’m in the process of reaching out to publishers so if you know anyone who might be interested, please reach out :)
